**EXCERPT**
HOUSTON
It was New Year’s Eve. Troy had wanted us to
join him at a frat party, but I knew Rory would feel more comfortable ringing
in the New Year just the two of us. The restaurant was packed with people who
either had the same idea as us, or who just wanted to take advantage of the
free New Year’s Eve beer sampler. I parked my truck in the back of the
restaurant, which stood like a giant two-story box in the center of a dark
corner lot.
The front of the restaurant was lit up by a
gaudy neon sign and the sodium yellow glow of a solitary street lamp. But the
back of the restaurant was flush in dark-blue shadow, and the occasional glint
of moonlight on chrome. There was one other car parked back there, but it was a
brand new Lincoln SUV. Probably belonged to the manager or the owner of the
restaurant. They wouldn’t come out until the place closed down at two or three
in the morning.
“Do you think they’ll have champagne?” Rory
asked, grabbing her phone out of her purse and tossing the handbag into the
truck cab.
“Doesn’t matter. You won’t be able to drink it,”
I said, reaching into the cab to grab an old blanket I kept back there out of
habit, tossing it on top of her purse to further conceal it.
“You don’t know that. I don’t always get
carded.”
I can barely see the arc of her cheekbones
through the hazy moonlight. “I don’t know. It’s New Year’s Eve. They might let
you slide.” I reach forward, my fingertips skimming over her knee-high tights,
landing softly on the top of her thigh. “Or they might take one look at you in
that skirt and those schoolgirl socks and decide you’re just too much of a
risk.”
Rory and I had never role-played, but ever since
I saw her slink into this outfit, I’d thought of nothing else but bending her
over a desk and fucking her as if our grades depended on it. Being three years
apart, Rory and I didn’t share any classes. But that didn’t change the fact
that I thought of nothing but her while sitting through hours of boring
lectures. Fucking her in that schoolgirl outfit would make up for all the times
I’d sat in class trying my damnedest not to get hard while fantasizing about
her mouth around my cock.
I began sliding my fingers beneath her wool
tartan skirt, but she grabbed my hand. “Stop trying to distract me.”
She threw open the passenger door and twisted
around to get out. My eyes locked on the curve of her hips, the bounce of her
ass as she plopped down onto the asphalt. It hadn’t quite been twenty-four
hours since we’d last fucked, but I was already hungry for her again. I stepped
out the truck and headed her off near the tailgate.
“What are you doing?” she said, making a move to
sidestep me.
I moved with her, my hands reaching forward to
grab her waist. “Don’t move.”
“Houston.”
My gaze fell on her chest, the rise and fall of
those soft mounds. The way they curved down into her waist made me dizzy. The
snug cream sweater she wore left just enough to the imagination. My eyes raked
over her entire body, landing on her lips, my mind lingering on the memory of
the sweet taste of her. Finally, I looked up, and the moment our eyes met she
knew.
Her arms stretched up, latching onto my neck as
I bent down, my arms locking around her thighs to lift her up. Her legs
clenched around my waist as our mouths collided in a hot fervor of passion. I
carried her past my truck, toward the back wall of the restaurant, my muscles
saturated in my need for her.
“What if we get caught?” she whispered.
I pressed her against the brick wall, leaning my
weight into her as I kissed her deep and hard. Without saying a single word, I
was answering her question: Who gives a fuck?
“Fuck me,” she breathed as I ground my hips into
the wet cotton of her panties.
“Not yet. I want to watch you come undone.”
I set her down on the asphalt and knelt before
her. Her chest heaved with anticipation as she watched me lift the edge of her
skirt. Sliding my hand behind her thigh, I lifted her leg to rest it on top of
my shoulder, opening her up to me.
“Oh, God,” she whimpered, as I slid her panties
to the side.

Saving myself for someone who will make my heart race, most definitely.
In theory it's a good plan, however even the best-laid plans fall through. Seeing him, being around him, alerts all my senses and I dream about being his, wrapping myself in his arms and never letting go. The only problem – he sees me as his sister.
My name's Ava Evans and I'm in love with my older brother's best friend, Nate Garrison.
Burying myself in work for the past two years, avoiding any thought of her, has worked, until now. She's everywhere, in my dreams, in my gym, and in my heart. I'm not sure when I fell in love with Ava Evans, but I am completely in love with my best friends baby sister.
At first she was too young for me and that made it easy to stay away. Now, it's a struggle to keep my distance.
How am I supposed to resist her when I can’t escape her? If he ever found out, it would ruin our friendship. Even with that knowledge all she would have to do is...
I reach the table just in time to watch as Kara pulls Ava to the dance floor. They stop right at the edge as if they cannot wait a second longer to move to the beat. We watch them in silence, enjoying the show they’re putting on. That is until two guys join them. At first, it looks innocent enough, but when the one closest to Ava puts his hands on her, I know I have to squash this.
“We can’t let them have all the fun.” I motion to the dance floor. I’m pissed off this guy is mauling her, and I’m pissed off at Zach. I can’t believe he let his groupies pull him away from Ava. He doesn’t deserve her.
Tanner grins. “You don’t have to tell me twice.” He places his now empty water bottle on the table and heads straight for Kara.
I’m hot on his heels. I stop in front of Ava and she smiles hesitantly just as the song changes to “Talk Dirty.” The guy who was trying to make his move on her is no longer touching her, which is in his best interest. Ava seems nervous as to where she should touch me. This is new for us. I take her hands and rest them on my shoulders as I move my hips to the beat. I keep an eye on the jackass to make sure he knows she’s unavailable. I don’t want him touching her again.
I pull her tight little body close to mine, not caring that this is Ava Mae, my best friend’s little sister. She’s forbidden, but for tonight, for this time in which I actually have her in my arms, I don’t let it stop me. Instead, I pull her close and pretend she’s mine. Ava rocks her hips against mine and I tighten my grip. Her big brown eyes find mine and her stare is intense. If I didn’t know better, I would think that she wants me just as fiercely as I want her. Pulling her as close as I can get her, I bury my face in her neck and match the rhythm of her hips as they grind against mine. I wish like hell she were mine.

Kaylee
Ryan has had a passion for reading since she was a little girl. That passion
has slowly led to spinning romantic tales, and a one-click addiction. When she
doesn’t have her nose stuck in her kindle or fingers glued to the keyboard, you
can find Kaylee hanging out with friends and family. She loves all genres of
music, and enjoys scrapbooking. She lives in Ohio with her husband (her real life
happily ever after) and their rambunctious little boy.
Cassidy Whalen is as determined as they come. An Irish girl from a small fishing village, she worked hard to pursue her love of American sports and land her dream job as a sports agent with a major agency in LA. Unlike her colleague, Shaw Matthews, who believes you should work smarter, not harder. Although it's assumed Shaw comes from money, he doesn't. What he did inherit was a genetic gift of charisma, and he used it to his advantage, establishing connections at an early age that helped him climb the corporate ladder. He's arrogant and used to getting his way with women, but he's met his match with Cassidy, who's out to prove that anything he can do, she can do better.
When a partnership position with Striker Sports Entertainment is up for grabs, Cassidy and Shaw are in a head-to-head competition to snag the most sought-after athlete in the country. Let the games begin! Playing their sexual strengths against the other's weaknesses leads to an affair that takes the competition . . . to their offices, the co-ed bathroom, the boardroom, the supply closet, the elevator, and anywhere else they're given the opportunity. But before long, they're left wanting much more than to one-up each other in just the boardroom; they want to out-do each other in love, too.

I wasn’t always this jaded. I had a clear head, things I wanted out of life, and a concise plan on how to get there. For being only twenty-one, I pretty much had it all figured out. Until the day my cousin died.
I spent months going over all the details surrounding her death, trying to figure out how I missed the signs, and the only thing I could come up with was she would still be alive if it wasn’t for one person: her professor. So I transferred to his college, enrolled in his class, and set my new plan in motion.
First I’ll seduce him. Then I’ll ruin him. I’ve just got to stay strong and not let his charm and my emotions get the best of me. Because someone has to pay for her death. If it’s the last thing I do, I’m going to break Noah.
