REVIEW SEARCHING FOR PERFECT BY JENNIFER PROBST

Synopsis:

The up-and-coming matchmaking agency Kinnections is the hottest thing to hit Verily, New York—just like Kennedy Ashe, social director for the service she owns with her two best girlfriends. A coach, consultant, and cheerleader rolled into one super-sizzling package, Kennedy creates dream dates, encourages singles to shine, and never refuses a challenge—not even Nate Ellison Raymond Dunkle, rocket scientist, nerd extraordinaire, and Kennedy’s newest client.

Kennedy vows to work her magic and transform this hot mess in a lab coat with a disastrous relationship track record into the most wanted man on the Verily dating scene. If only she could turn the wand on herself . . .

Though she radiates confidence and sex appeal, Kennedy harbors deep-seated insecurities from a tormented past and lifelong struggle with weight issues. When she realizes she and Nate are cut from the same cloth and might be perfect together, can Kennedy learn to let her heart lead the way? Or will her fears sentence her to the sidelines as Nate finds love—with someone else?

My Review:

“LOVE has nothing to do with perfect. It has to do  with FLAWS and  OVERCOMING FAILURE and FIGHTING for what you WANT.”

In Searching for Perfect, we meet Kennedy Ashe she co-owns a matchmaking agency called Kinnections with her two best friends from collage Kate and Arilyn. The three of them make a great team and know what it takes to make the perfect match. Kennedy is the Social Director/ top recruiter and makeover expert at Kinnections. While doing a speed dating mixer, she had the pleasure of meeting Nathan Ellison Raymond Dun.

“There were no guarantees, and she didn't do Cinderella endings. Never had, Never would.”

Ned Dunkle is a Aerospace engineer. Although everyone like to call him a Rocket Scientist, and it gets under his skin and he will correct you. Ned is ready to find a Wife so he is going to a speed dating mixer, what can it hurt? Well Ned has the total definition of the word NERD, not to mention he has his lab coat on and a stain on his shirt, and way to much colon on. Once the mixer starts, Ned has doesn’t do well he has no idea how to talk to a woman and blows it every corner. By the last woman he get to meet that night he is in a bad mood and ready to be done and go home. He says some very rude and inappropriate things which leave the woman in tears.

“My mom once told me there are no guarantees in this life, but if you don’t try you’ll always be empty.”

This is where Kennedy and Ned meet and the story starts to get really yummy and hot, Kennedy sees Ned has no idea what he’s done wrong and tells him to meet he at the dinner next door. After she has cooled off and made she her client was okay she went and meet Ned and that is where they made a deal and he joined Kinnections and she became his Matchmaker.

Kennedy started working with Ned right away and they were going to find him a perfect wife. They decided Ned would go by Nate now and he liked that. Nate fought Ken on a lot of things and let’s just say he didn’t win the battle often. The makeover process was long and hard not only for Nate but for Kennedy also when you have to make such dramatic changes to ones appearances you have to go at it the right way or they will walk and Kennedy is the perfect Makeover Expert after all.

“If I were an artist, I’d paint you like this and hang it by my desk so I could look at you all day and remember how you’re meant for me.”

After weeks of going through changes and seeing the transformation of a nerd to a Sexy Rocket Scientist and the twist and turns in-between and seeing a push and pull between Nate and Kennedy it’s so hot and scorching. Who knew a nerdy Rocket Scientist could be so dirty mouthed and pleasing in the bed room?!? Now That Ken gave into her craving to have Nate in the bedroom with the sexual tension go away and will she be able to find him his perfect wife. Nate wants Kennedy, Kennedy won’t let that happen she is no good for him… or so she thinks. Jenifer Probst has done it again she has away with writing that is almost magical and leaves you dreaming about the characters and what the next book could bring.

“You’re both. Smart and beautiful on the inside and outside you don’t have to choose one or the other anymore. You can just be exactly who you were meant to be. And I think that’s damn perfect.”

SEARCHING FOR PERFECT IS SCORCHING HOT AND FULL OF LOVE, HEARTBREAK, HEALING AND ACCEPTING WHO YOU ARE. IT’S ABSOULTY PERFECTLY BEAUTIFUL.
