BOOK REVIEW: ILLUSION BY J.S. COOPER

Illusion is the book readers are calling a roller coaster ride of emotions. It's achingly sexy, steaming hot, full of romance and has suspense that will keep you guessing until the last page.

Indie sensation and New York Times bestselling author of the Ex Games series and the Private Club series, J.S. Cooper introduces the Swept Away series--three new, dark and sexy romances about a woman marooned on a desert island with a mysterious stranger--but is he friend or foe?

The day started like every other day...

Bianca finds herself kidnapped and locked up in a van with a strange man. Ten hours later, they're dumped on a deserted island. Bianca has no idea what's going on and her attraction to this stranger is the only thing keeping her fear at bay.

Jakob wants only to figure out why they've been left on the island and how they can get off. But as the days go by, he can't ignore his growing fascination with Bianca.

In order to survive, Bianca and Jakob must figure out how they're connected, but as they grow closer, secrets are revealed that may destroy everything they thought they knew about each other.

REVIEW:

In Illusion we meet Bianca a young girl that is living in New York City all by herself, having no one left after losing her mother when she was a small girl. Her Father raised her but he was gone now too, He left her with a letter and a box full of his most important belongings. What Bianca found shocked her to say the least, but she felt like she had to find out the truth….. But at what cost would she go to find the truth is the question???
This is something I asked myself while reading Illusion would I go to such lengths to find the truth? The answer YES I would. I think much like Bianca, I wouldn’t be able to stop until I had the answers I was searching for. No matter the cost, No matter what my answer would always be yes. And after you read this Illusion I strongly think yours will be also.
“Beauty and Charm. One survives. One is destroyed. What are your odds?”
Bianca started receiving letters threatening letters from who she didn’t know, but she was sure it had to do with the content of her father’s box…. After that first letter was found there was a knock at the door…. Police open up, but Bianca knew something wasn’t right. She didn’t call the Police, This police officer states he needs to make sure she is okay that there was a 911 call from her address. She opens her door and the officer asks to take a look around and dose so before she can respond. All the while Bianca is wondering who really made the call.
“Be careful of those who seek to help you. They may do more harm than good.”
Than the phone call, from a number Bianca never thought she’d see again. She knew all too well that it couldn’t be him. He was gone; she was alone in the world and up against someone out to keep the truth hidden forever. At all cost. So at what cost would you go to find out the truth? Bianca tried dating David the Brother of the CEO of Bradley INC also the son of the owner, you see her father was once part owner, but I’m not going to say any more. I wouldn’t want to spoil the story for you, I can tell you though without dough the Illusion will bring you on one wild and amazing adventure as we learn what is the truth and what is a lie, what is real and what is not. Who can be trusted and who cannot. Bianca was kidnapped along with another man named Jakob, they were drugged and when they woke up they were left up on an Island somewhere. They were tied together and there was a note.
“Without the truth, there is no answer; In pain, there is darkness. In light, there is nothing. Your bodies are now one, but not as united as they will be by the time I’m done.”
Bianca is on a Island somewhere, with a man that was kidnapped at the same time she believes it has something to do with the investigation she’s doing. But she has to remember she can’t trust anyone, not everyone or everything is what it seems. She really needs to go with her instincts. If she ever wants the truth she needs to be careful we see Bianca make so hard choices when it comes to who to trust and who to believe. But when the truth comes out or at least part of the truth…. Oh man I think my mouth hit the floor!!! I had my suspicions about a few things leading up to the ending of the book but than it totally sent me throw a loop and The cliffhanger at the end was the only thing I can say I am a little disappointed with but at the same point I have something to look forward to and I can’t wait!!! 5 stars
